These are the formative years for me. My stuff isn’t great but all i care about is improving just a little bit each day. I’ve heard people say of good photographers that it’s not about taking perfect photographs, but rather photographs that make people feel something. I hear that Ernst Haas was described regarding not seeing new things , but seeing things in new way. Leiter didn’t travel much, he too most of his photos near home.

Today I have started meditating on love and kindness towards myself and others. Oh and also on the fact that one day I will be dead. This is supposed to make me fearless in letting go but it’s not working yet; good things take time. Day 6

Consistency is difficult. Change must come from within and the rest will sort itself out. Chasing externals to feel happy or fulfilled is unsustainable. I’m learning the importance of striving to be of service to God and other people. Day 5

I am tired of trying to think of what to write. I want to write authentically about what I know. I may or may not find an audience but that’s none of my business and that’s not the point.
